The Story Behind Our Name
Alunsina Studio is named in honor of Alunsina, a revered goddess in Panay-Bisaya mythology. She is the divine keeper of the eastern skies, associated with the gentle light of dawn and the winds that carry stories.
We chose this name because her essence mirrors our purpose:
Light: She is connected to the first, most beautiful light of day—the same light we “conspire with” to illuminate your authentic selves.
Wind: Like the wind, moments are fleeting and intangible. Alunsina commands the winds, and we strive to command time, trapping those ephemeral feelings in a frame.
Guardianship: As a goddess, she is a guardian of the sky. We see ourselves as guardians of your legacy, entrusted to keep your memories safe and radiant.
